Car Show in the Laguna Seca Parking Area
August 15th, 2008
It’s always fun to see the cars driven by people who enjoy cars. When the Historic Races teams are in the paddock or out on the course, the cars they got to the track in sit patiently for the ride home.
So, what do the mechanics, owners, drivers and supporters (both personnel and non-personnel) drive themselves around about the countryside in? Attached are some of my favorite examples.
Don’t See Anything You Like Here?
My pictures are unmistakably amateurish. My Uncle Les’s pictures are not. Well, he’s not really my uncle, he’s my dad’s cousin’s husband, but he really is a great car photographer. If you’re in Monterey for car week, be sure and stop in to Woodies at Crossroads in Carmel and check out the collection of Les Ellis prints available there.
